Met up for a surprise family Sunday lunch, the barman played along with the surprise for my wife . Couldn't fault the service and the food , thank you to all involved. Our long journeys home were the better for having a roast at The Crown Inn

Had a fantastic stay. Beautiful village with an equally beautiful thatched pub. Staff really helpful. Food was another level - great quality, wonderfully cooked, quantities just right. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
Fantastic Sunday roast. Sat out the front with our Boxer. Roast Beef was melt in the mouth served with tasty veg and gravy. Chicken was lovely too , deserts were simply wonderful! Can't fault it

Stunning Sunday Dinner! Beef was melt in your mouth - generous portions, awesome crackling with the pork, veg was lovely and fresh and not at all mushy - yummy gravy and yorkshire puddings - highly recommend and compliments to the chef! Waitresses Eliza and Mia were awesome, very attentive.
I just go here to drink or dine. This place makes either option more than acceptable. Food quality is high. Same with the staff. Drink choices at the bar are great too. Wether you're a bitter or lager fan The Crown serves it with a smile.
